We have some of the most talented and excellent staff at our church.
Michael English is the music director of the church. He has been involved in church music since the age of 10. He attended Hope International University where he studied Music Ministry from 1999-2003. He has professionally worked in church ministry for the last 15 years in churches of multiple denominations, from Catholic to non-denominational churches. His passion is for the church of Christ to come alive through music and worship.
Don Smith is a third generation church pianist. He slept behind the piano on Sunday nights as an infant, started playing at three, and has been playing piano and organ for worship since the age of fifteen – we’re not saying how long ago that was, but B.J. and the Bear was still on TV, and he never missed an episode. Don studied organ performance and music education at Grand Canyon College before it was a university, and has served as a musician for traditional and contemporary services in churches from Presbyterian to Pentecostal. He’s single (until he either loses 50 pounds or wins the lottery), has a master’s degree in business, and works in human resources.
